Sidewalk at 1363–1399 Grand Ave
I am adding a photo to back up my report #00351088 at Grand Ave. and Gresham Street in Pacific Beach because I have been asking/reporting for more than 2 years for accessible curbs at this intersection. There are many spots on my routes that are not accessible and force me to wheel in the street but this is the only one that is this dangerous because there is no way around it. Grand Avenue is the main route for both cars and busses. It is also very popular for speeding, texting and drunk drivers. I use this route so that I can safely cross at controlled intersections but Gresham Street curbs force me to travel in the roadway for close to 100 yards because the angles of the driveway aprons and the slope of the curb and gutters at these driveways. I would be much safer if the city could install wheelchair aprons on this corner. This report is related to my disability and my contact information is available. Thank you
